Software Engineer – Frontend and Full-stack (Databricks)

We are looking for a front end/ full stack developer to work with a cross-functional team in our San Francisco office. We are looking for a talented and passionate developer versed in HTML, CSS, and Javascript experienced in developing single page web apps. You will collaborate with fellow engineers, UX, visual designer(s) and other cross-functional teams to design tools for data visualization, data science, machine learning, and big data automation. You should feel comfortable working autonomously as well as with collaborating with fellow engineers and designers.
Databricks was founded by the creators of Apache Spark. We have built a team of the best minds in the world in the field of big data, and we are looking someone equally passionate to grow with us. As an example of our engineering accomplishments, we set the 2014 record for Daytona Sort Benchmark in the 100TB category. We are the first in history to set this record using a combination of public cloud infrastructure and open source software.


  • Create engaging, easy-to-use, and visually delightful design solutions that address complex user needs
  • Develop in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (both in its raw form and with common libraries)
