About Spark Summit

Spark Summit, the largest big data event dedicated to Apache® Spark™ will be back in NYC in 2016. Join us from Tuesday, February 16 through Thursday, February 18, 2016 at the New York Hilton Midtown. Hear from leading production users of Spark, Spark SQL, Spark Streaming and related projects; find out where the project development is going; learn how to use the Spark stack in a variety of applications and hear from businesses that are utilizing Spark to meet their needs.

Day 1

Three different Spark Training sessions will be hosted by Databricks. Registered attendees can choose one class, Introductory Apache Spark Training, Advanced DevOps Spark Training or Data Science with Spark course. These courses will teach Apache Spark features that can be used in any distribution. The labs and exercises will be hosted in Databricks.

Days 2 and 3

Hear from top talent in the Apache Spark community, discover where development is headed, and learn how to use Spark in a variety of applications. Tracks will include Data Science, Developer, Enterprise, Use Cases, and Third-Party Apps.
