Erik Ordentlich is a Senior Principal Scientist at Yahoo, working on large scale machine learning. In prior roles, he was a researcher at Hewlett-Packard Laboratories and a firmware and algorithms engineer at iCompression. In 2011 he was named an IEEE Fellow for his contributions to information theory. He obtained the S.B. and S.M. degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT, and a PhD, also in Electrical Engineering, from Stanford University.
