Role summary: 
DataScience is seeking a datadriven individual with a passion for applying statistics, machine learning, and analysis to data sets to unlock insights. At DataScience, we bring together the brightest data engineers and data scientists to help our customers extract the information they need from their data. This individual will be responsible for directing and leading the delivery of academicgrade analyses to answer our customers’ questions and extract insights from their data.
Job requirements:
  • Perform hypothesisdriven analysis under tight deadlines
  • Perform deep and continuous exploration of highvolume heterogenous data
  • Develop clear visualizations to convey complex ideas in straightforward plots
  • Lead a team on methodology selection, results evaluation, and implementation
  • Develop and deliver various models such as stats, machine learning, and time series 
  • Interface with analysts to gather clear customer requirements
Required experience:
  • Two to 5 years experience using applied data science on business problems
  • Topnotch analysis skills and the ability to explore messy data sets and extract insights
  • The ability to tackle business problems with data science solutions
  • Expert-level skills with SQL
  • In-depth experience with hypothesis testing, distributions, regression, and Bayesian approaches
  • Commercial experience with machine learning
  • A passion for Python and the Jupyter environment
  • Experience with pandas, NumPy, sk-learn, and NLTK
  • The ability to write in LaTeX
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, or a similar field
